The coconut based IFS model (0.2 ha) developed and validated by IFSRS, Karamana is highly profitable and is suited for replication in low land tracts. In addition to the yield from coconut and various intercrops, this model ensures additional profits from allied enterprises like dairy, pisciculture as well as apiculture.
