Integrated Farming Systems Research Station (IFSRS) is located at Nedumcaud, Karamana, 3.0 km south east of Thiruvananthapuram Central railway and bus stations. The station has an area of 7.65 ha of which 6.25 ha is double cropped wet land and 1.40 ha garden land. The centre established in 1955 as Model Agronomic Research Station was upgraded as Cropping System Research Centre (CSRC) in 1989. Later, renamed as IFSRS in 2017, in view of modified mandate and various activities on integrated farming.
